Bekko

The origins of the Bekko go back to the Sanke (Taisho Sanshoku). The Bekko has been a Sanke without its hi (red). The body of the fish is either white, red, or yellow with a black stepping stone pattern. Because the Bekko is basically Sanke that has lost its red pattern, it is not bred as an end in itself, so exceptional Bekkos are difficult to find.
